shift is a platform that pays your team to record short, first-person videos of the everyday tasks they already do. That footage helps train robotics and AI systems - and your business gets paid for it.

Tell us how many team members you'd like recording. We provide the hardware and get everyone set up with the app. Your team records the tasks they already do as they work, and you track progress from a simple dashboard.

Footage is anonymized - faces and personal information are blurred - then used to help train robotics and AI systems. It's stored and processed using security and privacy safeguards in line with our Privacy Policy. No audio is recorded unless expressly disclosed.

Up to $20/hr for accepted footage. Earnings scale with your headcount and how much your team records - use the calculator above to estimate your numbers. Only accepted submissions are paid, and there's no cap on how much you can record.

Approved submissions are paid out on a regular cycle through direct business payout methods. You're set up with payout details during onboarding, and only accepted footage is eligible for payment.

Get started and tell us your headcount. Once approved, we provide the hardware and run a short orientation covering the app, privacy requirements, and payout setup. From there your team records, you track progress, and payouts follow.

There's no lock-in or fixed commitment. Record as much or as little as you'd like, for as long as you'd like, and adjust your headcount or step away whenever it suits your business.
